We’re ready for our close-up
There is a bit of a brouhaha going on in the theater world about a certain theater not wanting to seat a certain critic. We would like to inform Jeremy McCarter, editor at The New Republic and theater critic of The New York Sun, that press tickets and the seats of his choice await him at our theater. Ditto for Michael Feingold. There’s a link in the left-hand navigation to the requisite contact information.

Race is still big news in our world
In an interesting bit of timing in our quite-white theater world, today’s
New York Times has a
feature on
George C. Wolfe, a black man leaving a very prominent theater position, while tomorrow’s
Christian Science Monitor has an
article about three new plays on Broadway dealing with African-American lives.
I have no profound point to make. The articles are just good reading and we haven’t posted anything since November.
